BCA called in after 'significant assault' in Moorhead

The condition of a victim with significant injuries is unknown.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been sourced to a violent assault in Moorhead. 

According to the City of Moorhead, the assault was reported around 1 a.m. Thursday on the 1600 block of 20th St. S. Officers arrived at the scene and found two people in need of medical attention. 

The two victims were taken to Sanford Fargo Medical Center by ambulance, with one of the males sustaining significant injuries. His condition now is unknown. 

"Due to the significant injury, the MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has been requested to help process the crime scene," said the City of Moorhead in a release. 

No further information has been released.
