Beer selling compromise at TCF Stadium gets committee nod
A plan to sell beer at TCF Bank Stadium got little resistance in a House committee. The proposal allows beer sales in a beer garden in addition to high-priced box seats. Previous attempts to open up beer sales at the U of M stadium failed because they prohibited alcohol for fans in lower priced seats. University officials say beer sales could bring as much as $2 million a year in extra revenue.
