Bemidji man dies days after 2-vehicle crash in Hubbard County
A 74-year-old Bemidji man has died from injuries suffered in a crash last Tuesday.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Torrance Duane Lillevold died Friday morning at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center. He was injured in a two-vehicle crash around 9:20 p.m. Tuesday in Hubbard County.
Lillevold was driving a 2002 Jeep Cherokee southbound on Vagabond Loop in Farden Township when crossed the westbound lanes of Hwy. 2 in front of a 2008 Jeep Liberty driven by a 40-year-old Bemidji woman.
The woman attempted to swerve and avoid Lillevold's vehicle, but they collided. The Cherokee spun and rolled into a ditch, the crash report says.
The Bemidji woman and a 14-year-old passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Sanford hospital for care.
