Bemidji police say the Katrina Gulbranson is now home and safe with her family.
A Bemidji woman who hasn't made official contact with her family since January 8 is now the subject of a Bemidji Police Department investigation.
Katrina Brooke Gulbranson, 29, was reported missing by family members on Jan. 14. She hasn't been in contact with family since Jan. 8, although Bemidji detectives and family members "have been in sporadic contact with a female they suspect is Gulbranson," according to a release from Bemidji PD.
The woman they have talked with has said she is fine, but police have urged her to go to the nearest law enforcement and confirm she's safe.
Bemidji PD is working with the U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs and other state and federal agencies to find Gulbranson and ensure her safety.
Anyone with information that could help is asked to contact Bemidji Police Department by calling 218-333-9111.
