Ben, Dana and Giselle's replay: 2/23/17
6:00 Happy Thursday
Ben is still a farmer, so you could call him "The Bachelor Farmer." Get it? That's also where he's taking his next date, because why would he not want to introduce her to all his farming friends? Dana isn't feeling too hot this morning so he took to the couch all night to binge on House. Giselle is moving in just about a month and really needs to get on board with the whole "buying furniture" thing. Shout out the the first caller of the day, Amy!
6:15 90's Kids Rejoice
Intern Anna might know what the dial-up tone sounds like, but she had no idea what it was suppose to do. Urban outfitters has debuted an ode to the 90s every where with shirts repping everyone's favorite AOL for only $45. Everyone can agree that a Jessie and The Rippers (Full House, obviously) shirt would be totally worth it though. If you don't want to drop that kind of money, head on over to a Goodwill and you can probably find them for a couple dollars.
6:30 The Trend
The giant Powerball ticket was sold in Lafayette, Indiana, so if you have been there recently, you probably shouldn't be at work reading this. NASA discovered new planets that can sustain life in a short 40 light years away. Instagram has a new feature that is making people mad on the internet, because why would anyone be fine with change?
6:50 Craigslists Killers?
Is everything on Craigslist ok? Giselle is looking into buying a couple of things, but is it safe or shady? Shelves, end tables, and pretty much anything you can wipe down. If you can't do the Craigslist thing, check out discount stores and any overstock sites.
7:15 Ask a Cop
Just always put your headlights on and windshield wipers on in the snow, no one want to be that guy who can't see driving (because that's just not safe). Officer Schmidt stopped by to answer all of your cop questions, like "What does it really take to get pulled over in the snow?" If you want to do donuts in an empty parking lot, is that illegal? If you lick your license plate tabs, yes, like a stamp, and they fall off, what should you do?
7:50 $1000 Minute
Melissa headed into downtown Minneapolis and played $1000. Play with Ben, Dana and Giselle everyday at 7:45am.
8:15 Get To Know
Ben can't stand when intern Anna drops a "YAAAAAAAAAAS" like it's the only word in her vocabulary, so we want to Get To Know all of those annoying phrases your favorite people say. Dana can't stand the "sorry for partying." "Wassup" has caught on between Ben, Dana and Giselle. Ben knows he's become too big of a fan of "damn girl," because now he's saying it to church ladies. What would the world be like though without "Bye Felicia."
8:50 Trump or Kanye
It's pretty simple, who said it? Both know how to draw headlines, and we've all heard a good quote we either agree with, disagree with, or just laugh about it. You pick who said it, you win, it's as simple as that.
9:30 Thirsty Thursday
A big thank you to Catherine and Sam from Sisyphus Brewing for stopping by . They are just over near the Dunwoody campus and they have free comedy every Thursday night. Seriously, who doesn't love laughs and beer? They pair up with the Grown Up Club and host some pretty fun events, like auctioning off your single friends. Go out and drink local beer.
