Authorities are investigating a fatal crash involving a school bus and bicyclist.

Brooklyn Park Police Department reports that the crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of 65th Avenue and Zen Avenue, with officers first to the scene finding a man who had been hit by the bus while riding a bike.

The man, who remains unidentified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The school bus was carrying a driver and 10 children who were being transported to a local charter school. Nobody on the bus was injured and the students were transferred to another bus.
