Police in Blaine are looking for help identifying two men wanted for stealing a Salvation Army Red Kettle.

The duo struck outside the Cub Foods at the Northtown Mall, just off of County Highway 10, on Tuesday.

They used bolt cutters to remove the bucket from its stand before fleeing with the cash-filled container.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Blaine PD on 763-427-1212.

In happier Salvation Army Red Kettle news, the anonymous donor dubbed "St. Grand" has once again made an appearance in the Twin Cities.

The Pioneer Press reports that the generous benefactor dumped $1,400 in hundred-dollar bills in a kettle outside the Lunds & Byerlys grocery store in Roseville on Saturday.

St. Grand has left wads of cash in a Salvation Army kettle every year going back to 2011, the newspaper notes.
