According to Cloquet Police Department, a medical examiner positively identified the body as Dakotah Jayde Abramowski, 21, of Cloquet, who was reported missing by a family member on Feb. 18.

Abramowski had not been seen since leaving an apartment complex on the 600 block of Laurel Street on Jan. 5.

Abramowski's mother told the Pine Journal last week – before the finding of his body – that she saw her son Jan. 5 and suspected he was high on drugs.

She heard him talking to people in the hallway that night before he left abruptly. She hadn't seen him since.

A cause of death has not been announced and toxicology results are pending.
