Duluth Police Department says foul play is not suspected in the death of a man whose body was found on the Lakewalk near Lake Superior Tuesday morning.
The body was discovered by a North Shore Scenic Railroad employee just before 10 a.m. Tuesday, with police arriving at the Lakewalk in Leif Erickson Park – near the Rose Garden – to find the victim.
"Duluth Police Investigators believe there was no foul play. The Major Crimes Unit is doing follow up regarding this incident," Duluth PD announced.
The victim has since been identified as 50-year-old Matthew Maki.
