Body found in Minneapolis Friday being investigated as a homicide
Homicide investigators are working a new case in south Minneapolis after a man was found dead inside a home Friday.
According to Minneapolis police, officers found the body of a man believed to be in his 20s at a residence on the 2700 block of 18th Ave. S. They were alerted about the victim just before 10:30 a.m.
The Crime Lab processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing. No further information has been released, and the victim's identity will be revealed in the coming days by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.
