Body found in northeast Twin Cities metro area identified, death ruled homicide

The cause of death for a body found in the northeast Twin Cities metro area earlier this week has been ruled a homicide. 

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office ruled that the man, identified as 47-year-old Jose Natividad Genis Cuate, of Minneapolis, died by homicide. 

According to a release from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, a 911 caller reported finding the body at 4:27 p.m. Sunday in the 17600 block of Manning Trail North in May Township, which is southeast of Forest Lake and northeast of Hugo in the northeast metro. 

Details beyond that are not available as the Washington County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension lead the investigation.
