A young man whose body was found Friday in the Red River has been identified as Andrew Sadek, 20, a college student who has been missing since May 2, the Fargo Forum reports.

The body was identified by the University of North Dakota Department of Forensic Pathology using dental records, according to a statement issued by the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office. Sadek, of Rogers, was found Friday in the Red River north of Breckenridge. The cause of his death is still under investigation.

Sadek was a student at the North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, North Dakota. He was last seen early on May 1 on campus, the Star Tribune reports.

After he disappeared, dozens of volunteers and law enforcement officials searched the area for him, particularly along the river, according to the Forum.

Police revealed a few days after his disappearance that they had an arrest warrant for Sadek on charges that he sold marijuana to police informant, according to the Star Tribune. Investigators said they had kept that information secret because they didn't want to hamper their search.

The investigation into Sadek's disappearance and death will continue, according to the sheriff's department.
