Body found in vacant lot, Roseville police investigating

An investigation is underway after a body was found in Roseville. 

Roseville Police Department issued a release saying a body was found around 12:15 p.m. on the northeast corner of Dale Street and Roselawn Avenue. The person who found the body was in the area looking for shed antlers (from a deer) when they spotted the body near trees in a vacant lot. 

Detectives responded to the scene to begin an investigation, along with a crime scene processing team from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. 

The identity of the body will be presented at a later date after an autopsy is conducted by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office.
