Body found southeast of Forest Lake in Washington County

The body was discovered Sunday afternoon.

Details are limited but the Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a body was discovered on Sunday. 

According to a release, the sheriff's office received a call at 4:27 p.m., with the caller reporting a body had been found.

Deputies were dispatched to the 17600 block of Manning Trail North in May Township – southeast of Forest Lake – where the discovery was made. 

No further information has been provided as the case remains under investigation.
