Body of missing 18-year-old pulled from southern Minnesota lake

The body of a missing 18-year-old man was found in an Albert Lea lake on Sunday.

The Freeborn County Sheriff's Office confirmed that the discovery was made in Fountain Lake, the Albert Lea Tribune reports.

Family have identified the victim as William Bair, of Albert Lea.

He had been reported missing early Saturday morning, having last been seen in the early hours of Friday.

Among those paying tribute is District 27A Rep. Peggy Bennett, who posted: "My heart goes out to the Bair family for the tragic loss of their precious son, William. Our community mourns with you."
