The Ramsey County medical examiner has identified a second body recovered from near the Ford Dam on the Mississippi River last week as that of Jerome Gordon-Jackson, 28, a special education teacher's assistant in the Roseville Area Schools, the Pioneer Press reports.

A Minnesota State patrol spokesman said Gordon-Jackson had been arrested on a drunken driving charge, the newspaper reported. Hours later, early on the morning of May 18, he jumped from the Hennepin Avenue bridge in Minneapolis, investigators said.

Patch reports that the Roseville district issued a statement, praising Gordon-Jackson, noting that his "personal passion was to provide sound advice, good counsel and wise direction to the students of RAHS."

Another body, that of Dakotah Coach, 18, was discovered near the dam last week. He and Erika Borgstrom, 16, on May 14 had leapt from the Stone Arch Bridge in Minneapolis, although Borgstrom's body has not been found, authorities say.

Yet another body was recovered on Wednesday from the backwater area between the Mississippi and Minnesota rivers near the Mendota Bridge. People fishing reported seeing the body at about 11 a.m. Wednesday.
