Body pulled from St. Croix River near Stillwater

The discovery was made lunchtime Friday.

Authorities are investigating after a body was pulled from the St. Croix River north of Stillwater on Friday.

Washington County deputies were called to the 9300 block of St. Croix Trail North, in Stillwater Township, at 12:55 p.m. 

It was there that deputies found and recovered the body of the male.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Officer will determine individual's identity and their cause of death.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office is investigating, with no further details expected to be released until identification has been made.
