Body recovered from burning car that crashed into building in Plymouth

Police are actively investigating a crash that left one person dead in Plymouth on Sunday night. 

According to Plymouth PD, an officer saw black smoke coming from the 14600 block of 21st Avenue North in Plymouth around 8:30 p.m., and on arrival the officer found that the smoke was coming from a vehicle fully engulfed in flames after crashing into the side of a building. 

Firefighters were called to the scene to put out the blaze, and once it was extinguished a body was found inside the vehicle.

The victim has not been identified and no further information will be released due to the ongoing nature of the investigation.
