If you missed it Sunday while hunting for Easter eggs, Wild head coach Bruce Boudreau stormed out of his press conference following the Wild's 3-1 loss in St. Louis. The loss has Minnesota down 3-0 in the series, facing elimination back in St. Louis Wednesday night for Game 4.

What egged Boudreau on? A series of questions from beat writer Michael Russo about Ryan White.

“If you’re looking for me to criticize our team, it’s not going to happen,” Boudreau said. “We were friggin good tonight and we didn’t get the breaks. So quit trying to put words in our mouths that make us look like we’re bad because we’re not.”

Boudreau then left the press conference without another word.

You can watch his reaction at the 2:45 mark of the video.

Russo expanded in his blog for the Star Tribune, arguing that the third line with White, Marin Hanzal and Nino Niederreiter looked slow and ultimately got beat for penalties.

At the end of the day, this series has belonged to the Blues defense and goaltender, Jake Allen, who's allowed just three goals in three games.

Statistically, Minnesota is killing the Blues, outshooting them 117-79 in the series and winning the faceoff battle, 133-89.

The Wild have played well with the exception of scoring goals -- and the numbers would be even more dominating without the Blues blocking a ridiculous 63 shots so far.
