Boy missing after going swimming is found safe

The 10-year-old was last seen around 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

The mother of Christopher Harris has posted on Facebook that her son is safe and at home.

This is yet to be confirmed by police.

Minneapolis Police Department is appealing the public for help to keep an eye out for a missing 10-year-old boy. 

Christopher Jermaine Harris was last seen on the 3600 block of N 4th St. around 12:30 p.m. Saturday. He said he was going to Folwell Park to swim with unknown friends and never returned home, police said. 

Harris is approximately 4-foot-6 and 110 pounds with brown eyes and black hair with a fade style haircut. He was last seen wearing black gym shorts with an orange shirt and blue Vans sneakers. 

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
