Boy, 2, dies in southern Minnesota farm accident
The Freeborn County Sheriff's Office says an apparent farm equipment accident caused the death of a 2-year-old boy early Friday morning in rural Hartland, the Albert Lea Tribune reports.
Sheriff's officials said the Hartland Fire Department, New Richland Ambulance and Gold Cross Ambulance crews all responded to scene of the accident, but didn't release any further details, other than the mishap happened on private property.
The identity of the victim or location of the accident have yet to be released.
The boy was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea, where he died.
