Missing 9-year-old boy found safe and well

Minneapolis police had issued an appeal to find K'dion Williams.

Minneapolis police said in an early morning announcement that K'Dion Williams has been found safe and well.

A 9-year-old boy has been reported missing in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

K'dion Williams was last seen at his school, Nellie Stone Elementary in North Minneapolis, located at 807 N. 27th Ave., at around 2:30 p.m.

He is about 4'8" and weighs 75 pounds, Minneapolis police say.

He was last seen wearing his school uniform of a navy sweatshirt and khaki pants.

A post by a man identifying himself as the boy's father says in a Facebook post that the bus driver confirmed he got off at his regular stop at 41st and Emerson just before 3 p.m.

"Please just help me bring my little boy home safe," he wrote.

Anyone with any information should call 911.
