Boy fatally shot in south Minneapolis is identified
A teenage boy who was shot dead in south Minneapolis on Monday night has been identified by the Hennepin County medical examiner.
Kohlin Louis Fohrenkam-Differenthorse suffered multiple gunshot wounds just after 10 p.m. Mar. 8 on the 2600 block of Cedar Avenue in south Minneapolis.
Police responded to the scene, where two groups of people exchanged gunfire, to find the 14-year-old boy in grave condition. He died at the scene, while another victim was shot and transported to HCMC with non-critical injuries, according to police.
The Star Tribune reports that the second shooting victim was aged in his early 20s and suffered a gunshot wound to his back.
The suspects fled the scene before police arrived.
