For the second time in a little more than two years, tragedy has struck a family in southern Minnesota.

Zachary and Taylor Johnson, ages 8 and 5, were among three people killed in a crash on County Road 18 in Goodhue County on Saturday, a GoFundMe page for the family says. The third victim, Stacey Lande, 47, was their grandmother.

Another person in the vehicle, Rob Welch, is in critical condition at Mayo Hospital in Rochester.

The fundraiser, titled "Tragedy Strikes Again," notes that Zachary and Taylor's mother, Marya Christiansen, died at the age of 23 two years ago.

Her body was found inside her van, which was pulled from the Mississippi River near Red Wing on March 16, 2016.

"As some of you may not know , in March of 2016 Marya lost her life in a car accident, she was the mother of Zachary and Taylor Johnson, and girlfriend to Christopher Johnson," the fundraiser says.

"We are asking for anyone to donate whatever you can so we can give them a proper burial and also for some bills that will come along with this horrible tragedy," it adds.

The triple-fatal crash happened at about 11:45 a.m. Saturday on County Road 18 in Welch Township, not far from Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Goodhue County.

Authorities have not yet officially identified the victims, with more information expected to be released later on Monday.

The GoFundMe page has already raised $3,000 in just 18 hours.
