The State Patrol on Monday reported three teenager deaths from separate traffic accidents over the weekend, and a fourth teenager was killed in a crash that happened in Brooklyn Center early Sunday morning.

News of the crash came via the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office, which identified 15-year-old Keyaries Devont'e Benford, of Robbinsdale, as the victim of a crash that happened around 1:20 a.m. in the parking lot of a business located at 5930 Brooklyn Blvd. S.

The medical examiner's report says Benford died of multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death is being investigated by Brooklyn Center Police Department.

Bring Me The News has requested more information about the crash from the department.

The deadly weekend saw three other teenagers die in separate crashes. One happened in Big Lake Township when a 19-year-old was trapped in a vehicle that crashed into the Mississippi River, while two other teens, ages 17 and 16, respectively, died in traffic accidents in Eagan and southeastern Minnesota, respectively.

The 17-year-old who died in the Eagan crash has been identified as Angely Burgos-Salas, of Minneapolis. The other victims have not been identified.
