Brooklyn Park police searching for 12-year-old who ran away from foster home

A young boy who ran away from his foster home has now been missing for two weeks.

The Brooklyn Park Police Department says 12-year-old Izaich Mardis left the home on May 2, and they still don't know where he is.

Mardis is described as 4-foot-10 and about 84 pounds, with a scar on the back of his head and a "distinct gap" in his front teeth.

He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with the word “Beast” written on it three times in a green-yellow color. He also had on blue jeans.

Anyone who has seen Mardis or knows where he might be is asked to call Brooklyn Park PD at 763-493-8222.
