Lakeville police released video from the burglary.

The Lakeville Police Department is searching for suspects involved in a gun shop burglary on the morning of Friday, Aug. 3.

Dakota Custom Guns, located at 17400 Kenwood Trail in Lakeville, was broken into by burglars who rammed a Ford Flex into the back doors of the building, then snuck inside and stole several handguns, police say.

Video of the incident from security cameras around the building has been released to the public in an effort to help identify the suspects.

Anyone who can help identify the burglars is asked to call 911 or call Lakeville police at 952-985-4800.

Some help descriptions of the vehicle they were driving include:

  • Ford Flex with a tire on the front right (passenger side).
  • Ford Flex has one black rim, different from the rest.
  • Ford Flex has damage to the front, left side fender.

One of the suspects is approximately 6-foot-5 and was wearing a hoodie with cropped jeans and red shoes. The other suspect is estimated to be 5-foot-8 and slim.
