Burnsville police: Man missing since Oct. 1 found dead
Burnsville police has announced that a local man missing since Oct. 1 has been found dead.
"We would like to thank everyone for their continued efforts in attempting to locate Keith Cilla-Saxowsky, our missing person," the police department tweeted Wednesday.
"Unfortunately, he was located this afternoon deceased. We would like to extend our deepest sympathies to Keith’s family and friends."
According to a Facebook post from a family member, Cilla-Saxowsky was seen on a trail camera near a home on the 15700 block of James Ave. S. in Burnsville, where his truck was found unoccupied at a cul-de-sac.
The family member, who identified herself as his sister, said police have searched for him with dogs, a dive team and drones. Volunteers also searched railroad tracks in the area near where his vehicle was left.
