Cambridge man killed in overnight crash in Isanti County

The crash happened around 1:10 a.m. Wednesday.

An overnight crash in Isanti County resulted in the death of a 37-year-old driver. 

According to the Isanti County Sheriff's Office, the single-vehicle crash happened at approximately 1:10 a.m. at the T-intersection of Polk St. NE and 417th Ave. NE in Stanchfield Township, and on arrival deputies found a 2003 Ford Ranger that had hit a tree. 

The driver of the pickup, identified as Lucas Howard Gleason, 37, of Cambridge, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The sheriff's office continues to investigate the cause of the crash and toxicology results are pending.
