A small cargo plane tipped on its side and went off the runway at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport around 8 p.m. Friday, the Pioneer Press reports.

Airport spokesman Patrick Hogan says the landing gear collapsed on the left side of the plane owned by Bemidji Aviation. The pilot was the only passenger on board and was not injured.

Two of four runways were closed until 11 p.m. Hogan tells KARE 11 that the closures had "very little impact on operations" at the airport.
