Champlin police seek information after $8,000 worth of cigarettes are stolen

The Champlin Police Department is seeking the community’s help in identifying the suspects in a convenience store theft.

According to the department’s Facebook page, the suspects recently stole $8,000 worth of cigarettes from a local convenience store. In photos from security footage, three suspects can be seen taking the cigarettes from behind the counter.

According to the department, the suspects stole 91 cartons of cigarettes while the employee behind the register was working outside. 

Individuals with information on the suspects are encouraged to call the department and reference case 20011640.
