The Pioneer Press reports 42-year-old Paula Lynn Larson of Bethel was twice the legal limit when the SUV she was driving collided with a motorcycle, killing two people Sunday night.
According to the charges, Larson's BAC was 0.195 percent after she lied to police about drinking and later admitted to having two drinks at a local bar.
The victims are 48-year-old John Jordan of St. Francis and 46-year-old Patricia Kalla of Big Lake. Kalla's ex-husband tells the Star Tribune that she was a mother of three and had moved to St. Francis to settle down with Jordan. Neither were wearing helmets.
