Charges: White Bear Lake coach sent lewd photos to 14-year-old boy

She is accused of sending lewd photos over SnapChat.

A White Bear Lake lacrosse coach accused of sending lewd photos to a 14-year-old student.

Amber Joi Cron, 20, of Forest Lake is was charged Friday with distributing obscene material to a minor, a gross misdemeanor that was issued through an arrest warrant.

The complaint against Cron says she sent photos of her cleavage and exposed breast to a 14-year-old student. The photos were sent to the boy on June 10, and a day later he reported the incident to school officials.

The boy told police that Cron sent the photos to him on SnapChat.

A school employee reported the accusation to police on June 19 and police followed up by interviewing the student on June 20. The boy said he knew Cron through a girls' lacrosse team that he helped with.

The Star Tribune reports that Cron coached lacrosse in the White Bear Lake school district from April to June, and that accusations of misconduct happened after she was done coaching.
