A 24-year-old Chaska man suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to a hospital following a waterskiing accident on Friday.
A news release issued Sunday by the Cass County Sheriff's Office say that the man was waterskiing behind a boat on Long Lake in rural Remer when he lost control and fell into the water.
The man struck his head and was knocked unconscious.
"Friends and family got the victim from the water into the boat where CPR was initiated and the victim was brought to shore. Deputies assisted with CPR, regaining a pulse, and the victim as transported via helicopter to a Twin Cities hospital," the sheriff's office said.
The man's identity and current condition have not been released.
