Dozens of people were evacuated from several buildings after a chemical spill at a factory in Turtle Lake, Wis., roughly 75 miles northeast of the Twin Cities, WEAU reports.

The Barron County Sheriff's Department reports the incident happened at about 11 a.m. Thursday at Sanmina-SCI in Turtle Lake. About 60 were evacuated from the plant, nine with minor respiratory issues.

Two other buildings were also evacuated, including a building that houses elderly residents and another business, WEAU reported. Some of the evacuated were taken to the Turtle Lake school gym.

The plant's website says it offers "full-service enclosure assembly, plastic injection molding and aluminum die-casting services."
