The head women's basketball coach and cross-country coach at Crown College, a small private Christian college in the west metro, is charged with criminal sexual conduct after admitting he had a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl, KARE 11 reports.

According to the criminal complaint, 30-year-old Ryan Chmielewski of St. Bonifacious first met the girl on the free online dating website OkCupid.

The victim told investigators that she and Chmielewski engaged in sexual activity in her bedroom at her parent's home in Shorewood on three separate occasions in December.

The girl's father eventually found out about the relationship and contacted police.

A sting set up by the South Lake Minnetonka Police Department lead to Chmielewski's arrest. Officers posed as the teenager and invited Chmielewski to her home on Jan. 6. He was taken into custody when he arrived.

A spokeswoman for Crown College told WCCO that Chmielewski was terminated Thursday afternoon.
