The Dakota County Attorney's Office has charged an Eagan man with felonies after police say they found more than 72 pounds of marijuana in his home, Sun This Week reports.

Jerald Lynn Mixon, 73, was charged with second-degree controlled substance crime with intent to sell on Aug. 28.

A criminal complaint says the Dakota County Drug Task force conducted a warranted search of Mixon's home and found numerous bags of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Mixon faces up to 25 years in prison if convicted.

The case marks one of biggest drug busts in the state in recent months.

In May, WCCO-TV reported a 38-year-old St. Paul man was arrested on suspicion of possessing and selling 56 pounds of marijuana worth roughly $200,000 to $350,000

In July, Fox 9 reported an estimated 10,000 marijuana plants were seized in Hinckley that had a reported value of $5 million.
