Two people are behind bars and one is in the hospital following a shooting east of the Twin Cities.
It happened early Friday afternoon in Farmington, where officers were dispatched to a "gun-pointing incident" and discovered a victim with a gunshot wound to the head.
According to a Facebook post from the local police department, the victim was soon taken to the hospital "with what appeared to be life-threatening injuries."
Police say two suspects are now in custody, and that there "does not appear to be any continued danger to the public."
"This is a complex situation and no further information will be released at this time," the post says.
Neither the victim nor the suspects have been identified, and no other details about the shooting itself — or the victim's current condition — were disclosed.
