A woman has been found dead in a rural area of northern Minnesota.

The Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office reports a couple walking in the Uppgaard Wildlife Management Area in Ideal Township, near Crosslake, found the woman's body in a gazebo at 1:50 p.m. Sunday.

Police were called, with the woman pronounced dead at the scene.

She has since been identified as Carly Jackson, 28, of Crosslake, Minnesota.

Her body was taken to the Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office for autopsy, but the sheriff's office doesn't believe her death to be suspicious, and say there's no threat to the public.
