Crash causing lane closures on Hwy. 169 in Twin Cities for several hours
There are major delays on Hwy. 169 in the western Twin Cities metro, after a crash caused lane closures in both directions.
The Minnesota State Patrol says it's at the scene of the crash at Rockford Road, which only resulted in minor injuries but is likely to lead to disruption on the busy highway for several hours.
Both directions of 169 have had a lane closed while police investigate and clean up the scene.
At this time, no details about the crash and how it came to happen have been released.
Images from MnDOT cameras show long lines of cars northbound and southbound waiting to pass the crash scene.
At 10 a.m., MnDOT says the lane closures are likely to be in place for at least the next two hours.
