I-94 re-opens after crash in Lowry Hill Tunnel

UPDATE 3 P.M. 

The Minnesota State Patrol says that the crash in Lowry Hill Tunnel has been cleared and westbound I-94 has re-opened.

2 p.m.

A crash has closed Interstate 94 westbound at the Lowry Hill Tunnel in Minneapolis. 

The Minnesota State Patrol says the westbound lanes will be closed for an "extended period of time" and drivers should find an alternative route. 

According to Minnesota News Network, the crash appears to involve a car and a school bus in the tunnel, although it's unclear if any students were on board the bus or if there were any injuries in the crash.
