Crash in Roseville sends truck halfway up a power pole

That's literally how the truck ended up.

The photo above isn't photoshopped, it's actually the end result of a crash on slippery roads in Roseville Friday morning, which sent a truck halfway up the guide cables of a power pole.

"Definitely not how this driver wanted to start the day. Roads are slick, slow down and give yourself extra time!" tweeted Roseville Fire Department.

According to KARE 11, the fire department had to stabilize the truck before helping the driver out. Had the driver shifted his weight the truck could have fell from the elevated position.

Fortunately, the driver wasn't injured in the crash.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, there were 85 crashes in the metro including 22 spinouts. Statewide, there was a total of 115 crashes and 38 spinouts. Twenty-six of the crashes resulted in injuries.

Another dusting of snow is possible Friday afternoon, meaning the afternoon commute could be a bit slick for a second day in a row.
