Crashed Ice crashes put skaters in the hospital
The first day of competition at the Crashed Ice Championship in St. Paul sent a handful of athletes to the hospital. The Team USA coach says competitors mostly suffered minor bumps and bruises, but some needed additional medical checks. The course features a steep, ice-covered grade followed by several turns and an obstacle course of treacherous bumps.
