The stainless steel, 10-foot-long crocodile sculpture that was stolen in St. Cloud has been retrieved by the artist.

Dale Lewis of Hastings found his sculpture after receiving a tip on Friday, which he provided to St. Cloud police, who found the 160-pound crocodile sculpture in the possession of two St. Cloud State University students.

The sculpture had been on display of the Sculpture Walk in St. Cloud since last August, and he found out it had been stolen when he and his wife drove from Hastings to St. Cloud to bring it home earlier this week.

Lewis was offering a $2,000 reward for anyone that could provide information leading to an arrest. It's unclear who provided the tip.
