CVS Pharmacy is voluntarily recalling select cases of its Gold Emblem Abound Organic Spiced Tea as a matter of precaution, announced the Food and Drug Administration on Sunday.

An ingredient contained in the tea tested positive for Salmonella in another product, said the news release.

Approximately 200 units of the tea were sold before it was recalled. However, there have not be any reported cases of illness to date.

CVS has removed the product from its stores and put a "do not sell" block in the company's store register system. It was previously available at CVS Pharmacy stores nationwide.

The recalled product has a single best by date of 18 Mar 2018 – no other best by dates were affected.

Any customer who purchased the tea should immediately stop using it and return it to CVS Pharmacy for a refund. For additional information, you can contact the company at 1-800-SHOP-CVS from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
