One child gets out of the car, then another, then another.
Minnesota State Patrol has released Dash Cam footage from April showing the moment a trooper responded to reports of a child driving a car.
The child – just 8-years-old – was seen behind the wheel of a 1992 Buick Roadmaster on Interstate 35W in Roseville, with police intercepting him when he pulled into a driveway in Mounds View – a good 12-15 miles from where it was reported.
The trooper stopped his vehicle behind the car, which then reversed into it.
When he opened the driver's side door, not only did the 8-year-old boy (who appeared to be wearing pajamas) exit the car, so did two other children – siblings aged 5 and 3 years old.
The driver wasn't related to the other two children, but they all resided in the same foster home, where they were returned by St. Paul police and Ramsey County social services, a State Patrol spokesperson told BringMeTheNews.
