A driver with a dash camera was recording when a dump truck traveling on Hwy. 13 rammed into the back of a line of stopped vehicles.

The frightening crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 13 at the Savage-Burnsville border just before the intersection Washburn Avenue last Thursday.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the vehicles were waiting at a red light when the dump truck slammed into the back of an SUV, which chain-reacted and hit another SUV in front of it.

Both SUVs were severely damaged and pushed up against a semi in front of them.

Here's the video posted to Facebook, which already has about 300,000 views (Warning: You might hear some offensive language).

According to the Prior Lake American, both drivers of the SUVs were transported to the hospital with broken bones and non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the dump truck was cited for failure to use due care.
