Dayton hires campaign manager for re-election bid
The press secretary and assistant chief of staff in the Gov. Mark Dayton's office has been hired to run Dayton's re-election campaign, KSTP-TV reports.
Dayton said Friday will Katherine Tinucci will manage his campaign. Her last day in the governor's office is June 7.
“I have the utmost confidence in her acumen, her dedication, and her ability to work well with many different people," Dayton said. "I am grateful for her willingness to assume these major responsibilities, and I know that she will do an excellent job."
Dayton informally announced his re-election bid in an e-mail to supporters in April.
