Dense fog causes horrific crash between semi and van in Stearns County

Dense fog is believed to have played a role in the crash.

Dense fog in central Minnesota Thursday morning was a factor in a serious accident involving a semi and a van in Stearns County.

The crash happened just after 5 a.m., at which time there was a dense fog advisory in place, according to the Stearns County Sheriff's Office.
