A Brown County sheriff's deputy suffered injuries after his squad car crashed into some cows.
Justin Bauer, 32, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries in the crash on 280th Avenue in Brown County in the early hours of Thursday morning.
His squad sustained $13,000-worth of damages after hitting the cows, which had to be put down due to the injuries they suffered.
The Brown County Sheriff's Office says the cattle were in the middle of the road and that Bauer was driving below the 55 mph speed limit at the time of the crash, "due to the foggy conditions."
The incident is under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol.
